T. T. T.

It's that time... when I tell you way to much about our {my}craziness.  Three Tangent Tuesday and since it's tradition and we are all doing it you should go do it on your blog now!!

1.  I went to Anthro last night ready to spend money.  Money in tow, husband on board.  Ready for anything fabulous.
We walked out with nothing.
I told Ben I was deeply sorry that I couldn't make us poorer.
So disappointed.
This ALWAYS happens when you have money to spend - there is never anything to buy.  I will just have to look online! :-)

2.  Costco is one of my favorite places in the world for many reasons.  Two of those reasons sit in a box of unpacked drinking glasses in the corner of my dining room.  {Yep I have unpacked dishes... We have very limited cupboard space and apparently have very little need for drinking glasses?}.
Why in the world are they hiding in a box in your dining room, you ask?  Because their milk chocolaty outside that melts serious amazement into your mouth is SO DANG ADDICTIVE.  If I don't hide them and "forget" about them either Ben or I would probably eat the entire tub in one hour.  It may appear that we like the almonds more...  I should mention that this is our second tub of raisins.  Problem?  Nope, just a big fat THANK YOU to Costco for getting the sweet sugary-ness just right!

3.  The lacrosse ball.  Do you foam roll?  Do you know the benefits and pain of myofascial release? If you don't I highly suggest you read about it, you use one, and you start rolling out those sore over used muscles. Benefit and instructions here.  But the lacrosse ball.... oh my goodness gracious! It works mini miracles above and beyond the foam roller.
It's deeper and for a more concentrated spot than the foam roll. You literally sit on or shove this little ball into your sore tender muscles to loosen and release them.  When I had a psoas injury last year I would push this ball into my stomach to try and release the tight muscle that was ruining my back.  I sit on one and release my glutes while I work.  They are awesome to release sore muscles in your feet by standing on the ball and applying the pressure of your weight, or you can roll the ball down your shin to relieve shin splints.  They are awesome and you really need to have one

You should really add a third tub to your line up. The Chocolate covered caramel macadamian nuts are seriously the best you will ever find. Far and above anything that comes out of Hawaii.
