Hi-Low in Winter {w2w}

I love this skirt.  It's one of those skirts that I will be terrified to wear with a baby.  Like the dress from my dream.  Its delicate and lovely, easily ruined and mostly a summer skirt.

Says who?  I decided it could be a winter skirt too.  And so it was.

Cold {w2w}

It's cold here!  Not as cold as those of you around the country dealing with snow and storms, but cold nonetheless.  It's like a switch flipped and now I just want to wear scarves, sweats and boots and sip hot chocolate.

But some days you have to get dressed.

Even if that gets harder to do with a growing belly.  Tights, by the way, are TIGHT!  They weren't kidding when they named those babies.

When I saw this scarf, I couldn't pass it up. I imagined how it would look draped on my leather jacket and I was sold. A little masculine, a little feminine.  Plus it's so soft, not that itchy uncomfortable business.

After these pictures were taken it started raining.  And it rained... ALL DAY!  I wore rainboots with this dress to Sunday dinner.  It didn't look fantastic, but Ben told me to go for it. So I did.  That's where I go for all my fashion advise.

Fur and Boots {w2w}

It's fall, you have the boots, the air is turning crisp and the leaves are fallen.  So, now what?
Rock those boots girl!! Or, guy.  Even Ben has busted out his hotty hot Sorels that I am tempted to buy in every color.

Safari {w2w}

I love animal print.  There is something about it that rocks my world.  Our first year of college Shannon and I bought matching BRIGHT purple cheetah print bedding.  It was awesome.  And definitely not something I would wear on my person.  Maybe then I would have, though - those were the days of box hair dye and staying up all night long.  What was stopping me from wearing purple cheetah print.

Have you ever owned a pair of pants that you want to wear every single day of your life?  That is how I feel about these pants.

This is probably as close as we will get to a 4th of July outfit.  Not because I don't love the holiday, I really do, but because of my previously mentioned anxiousness about laying clothes down as claim to a holiday.  I really can never look at them the same again.

Good thing it's not a holiday {w2w}

I feel like this time of year I am drawn to all things 4th of July related.  I sort of hate it because once I wear something "for the 4th" I can never look at it the same again.  It's like I have somehow committed it into the holiday wear hall of fame.  Well, good thing it's not a holiday.

It's real life {w2w}

One upon a time, a long time ago, I had a blog.  A blog where I promised not to shop, but vowed to remix the clothing in my closet.  I took pictures of my outfits.  I was pleased in my commitment to use what I had and still be 'stylish'.  I did a good job.
