Where is Ben?

Where is Ben you ask?



Ben has been BUSY!  The sunshine came and Ben went to work.  This is his MO, you know?  Working outside.  He loves working outside, and I am not just saying that so I can create projects!  In fact, he comes up with outside projects himself and goes right to work.

Love it.

We have both really wanted our own garden.  We both grew up with garden growing Mom's who fed us yummy garden grown food.  I miss, SO MUCH, going home to my mom's house and filling paper bags up with garden veggies to take home and eat.

Now we will have our own!

Ben had a great vision to build rasied beds.  I gave the "sounds good" smile and he went to work!

He built the beds, we planted our veggies and they are GROWING like CRAZY!!! We go out and check them every day with huge smiles on our faces.  We are brand new farmers and I love it.

He was also really excited to tear out the sad builder plants in our front yard and plant his own.  Again, he went right to work.  

I didn't know how much I had invested in this, but I was very sensitive when we went to choose trees and plants.  I fell in love with everything.  Turns out I love trees.  I love trees so much that when they grow up to be 10 feet in our front yard I better look back and remember that I HAD to have them.  :) 

Didn't he do a fantastic job??  What a good little hubby I have.  I sure love him.
