Meeting Santa

On two different occasions Max got to meet Santa this year.  He was so excited!  Haha, just kidding.  Eight month old babies don't understand Santa, but their mama's sure like to pretend they do.  Max didn't mind Santa the first time.  We were able to go to a friends house where Santa and Mrs. Claus were visiting.  They were sweet and gracious, just like I remember Santa as a child.

Max starred at him most likely wondering what this red get-up was that he was wearing.

And then wondered what the fluffy white stuff was hanging from his chin.  Santa was so nice he didn't mind that Max took a big yank to see if the beard was real.  It was.

Max even decided he liked this Santa fellow enough to pose for a family picture with him and his wife, Mrs. Claus. He wasn't going to smile, but we considered no tears a success.

And then he posed one more time with his buddy Eli.  Eli and Max are one month apart and have known each other since they were little beans in their mama's tummy.  They are excited to grow up together, can't you tell?

A few days later we got to go to the Adventure Dental office for a Christmas party and sit with Santa and Mrs Claus again!  Max doesn't have teeth yet, but he is a future patient and we have some good friends who invited us to come visit.  This time Max wasn't so willing to sit in Santa's arms.  Santa suggested I join the picture. I felt a little old to be sitting on Santa's lap, but I read him my Christmas list anyway! ;)

 Max sure has been a good boy this year, I can't wait to see what Santa brings for him!!
