Prepare yourself for a bore-city three tangent tuesday. Here is the thing, I am on my twelfth day in Utah and not sure when I will be heading back to the NW. I have done some fun things and even taken some fun pictures, but OF COURSE I forgot my camera cord and even though I have tried to work out every option in my brain to send the pictures from my camera to my computer, it seems there just isn't a way. Which brings me to my first bore-city tangent.
1. Technology. Awesome, it's changing lives people. But seriously when I am without it for 15 seconds I have a panic attack. I don't understand why I can't just send pictures from my camera to the world wide web. I mean, obviously I understand WHY, but how is it that my camera doesn't have some sort of wireless capability that will can automatically upload my pictures without hassling with a cord. I guess this would mean I would have to have some sort of data plan associated with my camera that would probably put me in the poor-house. I wish I would have done my usual and just taken cell phone pictures because honestly, a blog post is not a blog post without pictures.
2. Funny Story. I suggest the next time you check back you wear a diaper {assuming I have my camera cord by then}. I have the funniest story EVER. I honestly almost wet my pants driving down the road I was laughing so hard. True. But I can't tell the story without the picture and I can't get you the picture based on the poor nonexistent wireless technology of my camera. Brace yourself, you will laugh for days. I am still laughing.
3. Hair. All in favor of me chopping my hair off say "I". I can't decide. I have worked hard to get it to the sad awkward length that it is. But if we are all being honest with each other, I had a lot more volume {huge hair} when it was short. And I like when my hair has volume {is huge} because it makes me feel like my head isn't smaller than my body. Which, in 'real life' my head is probably proportionate to my body, but in 'Amber life' my head is crazy small and my body is crazy big and my hair needs to bigger to compensate. Yep. Anyway I am getting the itch to chop it so you need to help me decide. Let's make a list of pros and cons. It's the best way to make any decision.
Keep growing:
Pro:
- I can pull it back which is super awesome since it turns out I am hair lazy 98% of the time.
- I can swish it back and forth and say, "look how long my hair is Ben!" he responds to this by telling me how beautiful it is.
- I can't think of anything else except that me and my vitamins have worked tirelessly to get where we are today.
- It's flat and stringy. In hair terms that means fine and super breakable.
- It's flat. {twice cause it's important}
- It doesn't curl as good as it once did. Maybe because it's close to one thousand degrees in Utah and even hair feels too exhausted to be cute.
Cut it off:
Pro:
- My hair feels thicker when it's short.
- It dries super fast and I use less shampoo.
- It has volume.
- Short hair is so cute!
- No more mr. ponytail and awesome huge flowers trying to dress up said ponytail.
- It's a little annoying to have sweaty short hair sticking to your neck when you work out.
- It always has to be done. I don't get away with pulling it up and walking out the door. This is most annoying on vacation.
Now you tell me what to do, please. Also I would like to thank technology and facebook for the pictures above. See.... technology saves lives {and also blogs} people.
Happy Tuesday! :-)

Amber your hair is gorgeous either way! You are one of those gifted people that can look completely adorable with short hair! (I look awful... trust me) That being said, my vote is for long hair! At least for one more month! :)
P.S. thanks for the running advice! I ran two miles straight today!!! You have no idea what a huge(!!!) accomplishment that is for me! unfortunately, my legs hurt again... must work on my form more!
I agree that you look great either way. I think once you get past the awkward stage, you'll love having long hair. But, I'm a huge fan of your short hair. It makes me want to chop off mine! That is a mistake though. Every time I cut it, I regret it. I just can't pull off a short haircut. :(
Also, I'm waiting with baited breath to hear your hilarious story. You're such a tease!
Well, you know that I LOVE your short...so much so that I tried to be like you...but I've never see you with long hair so I can't really say. I LOVE how you do your hair and no matter what length you will ALWAYS make it look cute without fail. You are BEAUTIFUL no matter what you do!
Bottom line - only you can/should decide! Tough huh!
I think your short hair is very stylish and being from the south I always vote big hair!!
I think Amber is the best..."are you with me on this one.." (Only Amber will understand that quote.)
Love and Miss You.
WHAT???? Ben not only looked at a blog, but commented??? Wow! That is big! I think you should CUT IT!!! Hope you come home soon!
