Three Tangent Tuesday - aaand, We're Back!

Remember when I was super awesome about giving you three tangents every Tuesday to gnaw on for the week? {dog talk - I am a dog person now}.  Well I got boring busy.  But good news, I really loved this little Tuesday segment so I decided we are back.  I can do that, you know.

If you don't remember, take a stroll down memory lane HERE and get ready for my three little bits of Walunas Randomness.

1.  You know those days when you are planning to go out to dinner.  This is usually Friday and Saturday for us.  I am a stellar wife Monday - Thursday, cooking and being awesome.  But when Friday hits I take a few days off.  It's fantastic.  Anyway - you decide all day where you are going to go... and if you are me you dream about the yumminess of drink that will accompany you meal.  My drink of choice, Diet Coke.  All day I dream about the fizz being sucked from the straw and burning my throat.  {Yeah.... that's healthy}.  So imagine my disgust when we arrive, take our seats and order drinks only to find out they carry Diet Pepsi!  "Is Pepsi, okay?"  "No Pepsi is never okay."

This is going to be my new response:

I will have water please.  I actually really am okay with water, but you better believe I have a running list of restaurants that carry Pepsi.  I avoid them like any crazy person would.

2.  Some day I am going to be as awesome as the person who created Pinterest.  Who doesn't want to have boards full of food they hope to make, projects they plan to do and clothing they hope someone will give them?  Genius.
Back to the food though, I saw this pin for English Muffin Bread, which led me to Jill and her fantastic recipe.  I decided there is no better time than conference Saturday to make bread.  Oh. My. Wonderful.

I am a big lover of English Muffins with Peanut Butter {shocking!}.  This bread gets the yummy crispiness of an English Muffin, but tastes EVEN better!  Jill suggests that you toast it, I agree, but Ben loved it even un-toasted.  It's a good thing we had the good sense to give loaves away - heaven knows I wanted to cut a whole loaf length-wise and make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich!

3.  In 15 days we take to the skies for 18 hours until we land in Thailand.  THAILAND.  We are excited.  I don't really know what to expect, but I do hope to see a WHOLE LOT of this:

Sun + Sand and a whole lot of gorgeous-ness.  We cannot wait.

Happy Tuesday, my friends!

Happy Tuesday! Your bread looks wonderful! Way to go. Good thing you live far away so I wouldn't be tempted. Hugs
