Good thing it's not a holiday {w2w}

I feel like this time of year I am drawn to all things 4th of July related.  I sort of hate it because once I wear something "for the 4th" I can never look at it the same again.  It's like I have somehow committed it into the holiday wear hall of fame.  Well, good thing it's not a holiday.

I look like I am about to take off running.  Curse you outfit pictures, it's harder than you think!

I feel like this is the perfect, backyard BBQ/golfing/take a walk by the lake after sailing your beautiful boat/watch some fireworks outfit.  Too bad I didn't do any of those. I really just took my dog for a walk and made some chicken burgers on the grill.  It worked for those too though.

I love me a good white skirt.  The thing about this one though is that it get's SUPER wrinkly.  It only lasts a few hours before I take it off in embarrassment because it doesn't look like I iron my clothes.  Also I have been wanting to tie this chambray shirt in the front for months.  This skirt goes just high enough that I can get away with it without sharing my undergarments with the world.  Awesome and you're welcome.

If you can't tell, my shoes are actually pink.  Not red.  So it's not a fourth of July outfit at all.

It seems notable to mention that the sun makes it kind of hard to take good pictures.  I should also mention that I am not complaining.  I will take overexposed pictures and raccoon eyes if it means I get that bright ball of fire in my life.  People who haven't experienced the NW just don't understand.
