One upon a time, a long time ago, I had a blog. A blog where I promised not to shop, but vowed to remix the clothing in my closet. I took pictures of my outfits. I was pleased in my commitment to use what I had and still be 'stylish'. I did a good job.
Then I got engaged.
And my commitment to steer clear of new clothes went right out the window. In fact I did quite the opposite. I congratulated myself every chance I got with new beautiful things. Because, hey, it's what I do.
Anyway, the blog went out like my commitment to not shop. That was dumb, I maybe could have turned it into something great by now. Oh well. Live and learn.
The point is though, people often ask me, where I shop, where I get things and how I put things together. Most the time my answer is just, "I don't really know?" It's the truth. I don't know, I just do. Here in these little, what to wear posts, I hope to put some reason behind what I do.
It's not always right, because I do whatever I want. It's not always perfectly put together - never actually. And I am not a model (seriously I had to tell you that?) or a photographer, so it won't be amazing. Just a few thoughts from my side of the styling world.
I like to call this, I better get dressed because I have to leave the house in 30 mins.
Some days are just like that. It would seem only right that I would be rushing on the same day I decide to start this little adventure. It's real life peeps.
Anyway, church duty called today with a bunch of youth, outside. Comfy is just what I needed, this onsomb delivered. Plus these sunglasses rock my world.
