It's the most wonderful time of the year...

I love FALL.
Do you know?
That's why we got married in the Fall.  Come hell or high water I was GOING to have fall leaves in our wedding pictures.

Mission accomplished.

September 1, as far as I am concerned, is time to break out the boots and scarves.
But September 1 we were in Las Vegas, and it was 100 degrees.  Sadly, boots didn't happen, but pool time did and that made up for it.

End of September I was in Utah.  It was still a bit warm, and I didn't wear a jacket once, but I did wear jeans and closed toe shoes while I took in the magnificent leaves.

Utah Canyons in the fall are maybe the most beautiful thing you will ever see.

Back to my point - it's been unusually warm, even in the NW.  Which we really truly can't complain about.  I mean sunny days are something you just don't take for granite here.  But the days are beginning to cool, the evenings are definitively jacket worthy and although Ben is holding onto his shorts as long as he can, I am moving on.

This is my very most favorite ever season for clothes.  Oh the layering and jackets, the scarves and boots.  Holy cow.  I die.

Here are some of the favorites I have seen lately.  Mark my words, some of these will come home with me, a couple may or may not already be waiting patiently in my closet to make their appearance.
