All Hallows Eve

I didn't even know I liked Halloween.  On all accounts, I should.  I mean, I LOVE candy and even more than that, I love any excuse to dress up.  But somehow Halloween has never fallen on my list of favorite holidays.  That was, until I realized how fantastic we are at coming up with good costume ideas.  Yes, I am patting myself on the back as I write this.

Okay, that's enough.

But seriously - we have sort of knocked the socks off of Halloween the last two years.  You can see last year here.  It must be the baby.  He seems to be the inspiration, especially since he was the only one who really "dressed up" this year.  Also, we won a best costume award at our trunk or treat again this year - that Max, he sure knows how to steal the judges hearts.

As the days led up to Halloween I kept thinking it would be so cute to have Max be "Max" from Where The Wild Things Are, but truth be old I didn't know if I wanted to put my energy into making a costume.  Finally, I decided it was too cute not to.  I bought some jammies and attached some accessories  and he was good to go.  The cherry on top was really his adorable stroller boat.  After the boat I lost a little steam and only made some duct tape horns for the wild things.  Priorities.

I will tell you what, I really did do want to "eat him up!"

Here's to hoping we can get creative for next year! If I were you, I wouldn't bet on it. :)
