Beachy

A couple things:

.... I am a horrible wife.  This is because Ben's birthday is quickly approaching and I will be traveling for business on the very day of his birth.  Horrible.  I love celebrating his birthday and my heart broke when I realized the days were overlapping.

.... Ben couldn't care less about his birthday.  It took us dating for 6 months until he even told me when his birthday was.  

..... I tried to celebrate his birthday early by bringing him breakfast in bed on his day off. 

..... We decided to make a day of beach celebration dedicated to this special guy. 

..... The weather was gorgeous.  It was a cool sunny day. 

..... We ran in the sand, played with beach dogs and tried to talk Oliver into going in the ocean.  He wasn't interested in the water.

..... We threw sticks, found shells and even got a little sun on our faces.

..... We ate beach food, bought salt water taffy and came home exhausted.

..... It was an amazing day.  We had a blast.  Oliver LOVED playing in the sand.  If it would have been Ben's real birthday it would have been positively perfect.

Happy early birthday to my fantastic husband!  He really is the very best they make!!
